Heavy weight Danny Ortiz a state qualifier for Reading high school lead the
young bulldogs this weekend in Grantham Pa by placing fourth in his first
college tournament! The bulldogs will wrestle again next Saturday in Wilkes-Bare
Pa in the King's Invitational.

The young bulldogs continue to improve as they battled through the competition
this weekend at the King's Invitational in Wilkes-Bare Pa. The bulldogs were
lead again by Danny Ortiz a state qualifier for Reading high school at heavy
weight, placing third in his second college tournament! Congratulations bulldogs
and good luck as they will travel to Kutztown Pa, on November 24th to compete in
the Kutztown Invitational.
Kutztown Invitational
Wednesday November 23, 2005
The young Thaddeus Stevens College bulldogs were led by sophomore and returning
national qualifier Tony Miller at 197 pounds who placed second at the Kutztown
Invitational on Wednesday November 23rd. Tony was the lone finalist of the day
however, was joined in the medal round by Sophomore Zane Lamens who placed
fourth at 174 pounds, sophomore Troy Hostetter who placed 5th at 165 pounds,
freshman Josh Smoker who placed 6th, and freshman standout heavyweight Danny
Ortiz who placed 5th. Thus far Danny has placed at every tournament he has
entered. The bulldogs will travel to Middlesex New Jersey on Sunday December 4th
for their next competition. Best of luck Bulldogs.
Stevens College 9- Williamson Trade 28
December 8th 2005.
Despite a great effort by the young bulldogs who were led by sophomore Wesley
Brenner, Zane Lamens and Pat Krasavage who all recorded victories the battling
bulldogs got out battled 28-9 by Williamson Trade. The bulldogs are now
off until they resume after the Christmas break in January. Good luck boys
and train hard for improvement.
